NEW MINISTRY ANNOUNCEMENT

In 2010, the Lord called our family to plant Savannah River Baptist Church, and it has been a privilege for me to serve as pastor for the past 15 years.

God is now leading us into a new season of ministry to serve him in evangelism through aviation. As we follow the Lord in this new season of ministry, our family will be relocating near Salt Lake City, Utah, where I will attend Epic Flight Academy as a full time flight student. We will be located there for the next year or two as I gain the needed aviation ratings.

Over the years, God has grown my heart, not only to serve one local church, but to serve many churches through preaching and coming along side to support and encourage pastors, church planters, and missionaries across our country and abroad.

Over the years, we have witnessed in our church numerous souls saved and baptized, faithful soul winners raised up, people hungry for the preaching of God’s Word, faithful prayer warriors, and true servants who love their church. There are also two families within our church currently preparing to go to Bible college and prepare for the full time ministry. Glory to God for the wonderful spirit of revival in our church!

Before our departure from Savannah, we will ensure a new pastor is in place ready to continue feeding and leading the church. I have been fervently praying over the past several months for God to make it abundantly clear to me and our whole church whom He would choose. We wholeheartedly believe there are great days ahead for Savannah River Baptist Church, and we look forward to coming back to visit in the future!

Our sending church will be Calvary’s Grace Baptist Church in Ailey, Georgia. Pastor and Mrs. Brian Patrick have been such an encouragement and support to our whole family over the years, and we are grateful to be sent out of their church.

It’s not easy to say “goodbye” to the precious people God has brought into our lives through the years, and we earnestly covet your prayers as we follow God‘s will and fulfill His mission. As we have waited on the Lord to unfold His perfect plan, we are thankful for the peace of God as we move ahead by faith. We look forward to keeping you updated through newsletters and social media taking you with us on this journey of faith.
